"Henrietta Whiskers" Block 1 von Bunny Hill Designs

eigentlich hatte ich vorgehabt meinen Herzquilt zu quilten aber da ich schon seit Tagen unter furchtbaren Kopfschmerzen leide,  musste ich mir eine Ablenkung suchen ....und da begegnete ich zufällig  Henrietta von Anne Sutton .
Ich bin vermutlich "total verrückt" mit einem neuen Projekt anzufangen aber ich konnte nichts dagegen tun  denn mit meinem geistigen Auge erblickte ich schon  Henrietta in dem "primitive folk art style" ..... ;-)

so sieht mein erstes Blöckchen aus:

nach so vielen Pastell- und blumigen Farben hatte ich regelrecht "Hunger" auf dunkle Stoffe und zwar auf die woven flannel plaids. Das sind wundervolle, karierte Stoffe auf der einen Seite "normal"  und on the other velvety soft and beautifully brushed ... ;-)))
These substances are difficult to get to Germany, unfortunately, many of my stash I have at times Nähwelt Machemer purchased (the shop is not too far away from me ;-))) and there have really a good choice), some had come from abroad .... and gradually I built up a fine collection which should be used.

the self-made Melli's buttons are fixed only after the completion of the quilt edngültigen that fit so beautifully to ;-))))
